Dr. Handal is a board-certified plastic surgeon who got his start in the field at the University of Illinois at Chicago's UHS Medical School. He concentrated on plastic surgery during his general surgery residency at State University of New York, and was accepted into the State University of New York / Kings County Medical Center early. Following his residency, he pursued prestigious fellowships in hand surgery at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and aesthetic surgery at the University of Miami.

Dr. Handal focuses his practice on aesthetic plastic surgery, is a published author, and attends major plastic and aesthetic surgery meetings several times a year to stay up to date on the latest techniques and innovations.
